A lot of you have not submitted any writing prompt responses since we began them last week. Three are due on a weekly basis.

1. Writing prompt:
Outside the Window: What’s the weather outside your window doing right now? If that’s not inspiring, what’s the weather like somewhere you wish you could be? This is the second of the 3 due by the end of the week.

2. Review your 10 words and the definitions you found on Monday.

3. Find synonyms for each of the 10 words and write them on a Google Doc.
A synonym is a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase.
For example, shut is a synonym of close. Bossing means the same as controlling. Kind means the same as thoughtful.

4. On the same Google Doc, find antonyms for each of the 10 words.
An antonym is a word that means the opposite of another word.
For example, the antonym of hot would be cold. Near is the opposite of far. Nice is the opposite of mean.

5. Come back here and attach the file to me to submit right on the assignment. To do so, do the following:
Under Your work, click Add or create and then select Google Drive and click your acrostic poem from your own drive
If you cannot figure it out, just share the Doc with me how you normally would do!
