Good Evening SGS Families,
As most of you are already aware, Erie County has been designated an orange zone. This designation impacts our WNY community in many ways, including our school.
We are glad to know that schools are able to meet in person through the end of the week.
As per Governor Cuomo and Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, effective Monday, November 23rd, St. Gregory the Great School will move to remote learning.
More detailed information will be sent from both the Leadership Team and your child's classroom teacher(s) before the end of the week.
Our goal is and will continue to be in-person learning, five days a week. We are making great progress in our plan and partnerships needed for testing.
According to the latest information from county and State officials, we could return to in-person learning as early as Monday, November 30th. We plan to send more information to families regarding the process to return to in-person learning by the end of the week.
We continue to work and pray together, as a community, during this time of uncertainty and day-to-day changes. We, the Leadership Team, as well as the faculty and staff of SGS appreciate your support, confidence and patience.
We look forward to seeing your children tomorrow. Thank you and have a blessed evening.
The SGS Leadership Team
Mrs. Gajewski, Mrs. Sciortino, Mr. Luckett, and Mrs. McIntyre
