Good morning, I really hope everyone had the opportunity to get outside and enjoy that beautiful weather we had yesterday. I know it made my day to go to my daughter's house to see from afar my granddaughter Eloise Rose who was 3 weeks old yesterday. Although I could not hold her, snuggle her or kiss her, it still made my day to just see my daughter and my granddaughter while sitting outside on their backyard deck. Hopefully some more nice weather is headed our way as it is amazing what a little sunshine and warmth does for our outlook on life. Enjoy the day, stay positive. It will be an amazing week!

Good morning, the weather may not be the greatest but looking at the trees around me there are a lot of buds waiting to bloom. My daffodils are opening up and I can see my Hostas poking thru the dirt. It is a glimmer of hope! Try to find something that makes you smile today and be grateful for everything you have.

Good morning, I hope everyone had a restful Easter Break. The weather wasn't the greatest but I was still able to enjoy my walks. I have been making it a point to walk outside for at least 5 miles per day. Trying to stay healthy! My grandaughter Adriana turned 2 on April 4th, my step-son and his wife had a baby boy, David Henry on April 5th and my younger daughter had a baby girl, Eloise Rose on April 11th! It was a busy Easter break but a good one! Easter was definitley different, a social distancing Easter egg hunt with my grandaughter Adriana who enjoyed all the Hershey kisses in the eggs that were hidden outside! Hoping that this virus is over soon so I can actually see my grandchildren. This grandma is getting impatient....need to hug and kiss my babies!

Getting ready to celebrate from a distance my grandaughter's 2nd birthday tomorrow. I'm just thankful that she doesn't really understand what is going on in our world today. Her laugh, her smile, just the silly, simple things that make her happy are what gets me throught each day. Although I am not the greatest with technology, I am thankful for FaceTime so I can see my baby girl's face and hear her laugh!
