Tuition and Tuition Assistance Programs

Tuition is an investment in your child's future, and St. Gregory the Great School is an excellent investment choice for academic, spiritual, social, and charitable growth. While the cost to educate a student is considerably higher than our published tuition rates, we are committed to making a quality Catholic education affordable for all, through discounted tuition rates for parishioners, payment plans, additional tuition discounts for parishioner families with multiple children in attendance, and needs-based tuition assistance.

Tuition Assistance

At St. Gregory the Great School, we feel that every child deserves an education that will prepare them for not only a successful career, but develop them into Christ-centered individuals. We are here to help assist families who may normally not be able to afford a private school education, because we believe that every child, no matter the circumstances, should have an opportunity to succeed.

Parish Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance is funded by St. Gregory the Great Parish as part of its annual budget. Parents must supply financial information and a completed application in order to be considered for tuition assistance. This is a need-based award.

Applications for this program will need to be submitted by the May 1, 2021.

BISON Scholarship Fund
Founded in 1995, the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund is a privately funded tuition assistance program, which exists to help low-income elementary school children attend a private elementary school of their choice. BISON’s mission is to provide low-income parents with a full range of choices for their children’s education. Our scholarships are awarded first-come first-served on the basis of financial need. It is BISON’s goal to assist families through the full nine years of grammar school (including grandfathering in younger siblings). St. Gregory the Great School is proud to be an official partner school of the Bison Scholarship Fund.

Angel Wings Scholarship
St. Gregory the Great Parish is committed to partnering faith with education. However, some of our families face a financial struggle to send their children to our school, while others have never had the ability to enroll because of the financial constraints facing many in today’s world. Because of our parish’s strong belief in Catholic education, we do not deny families, based on their financial constraints, the opportunity to attend our school. Our Angel Wings Scholarship Program helps us to fulfill our belief/commitment to our children and their families.

Applications for this program will need to be submitted by the May 1, 2021.
The St. Thomas More Guild Scholarship
One $750 scholarship will be awarded to a student attending a Catholic elementary school, and one $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a student attending a Catholic high school. If there are any questions about the scholarship or procedures, please feel free to contact David Mineo at (716) 639-0058 or see our website.
