Pastor's Message

Dear Prospective St. Gregory the Great School Family, 

I am delighted that you have taken time to inquire about educating and forming your family at St. Gregory the Great School. Education is a very important part of the development of your child and is part of the total formation of the person. 

At St. Gregory's we aim to teach all disciplines in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The formation of our boys and girls into teenage Disciples of Christ involves the entire person: intellectual, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. Although spirituality is a component of a well-developed faith life, knowledge of our Faith and Scripture along with an integrated prayer life and a personal relational relationship with Jesus all form the spiritual dimension of the person. We offer our students what the Church has offered all people for over 2000 years: a relationship with God and the beauty of the truth of the Gospel. 

I was blessed to attend a Catholic elementary school and a public high school. The one element we can give to your child's development (as well as to the entire family) that the public schools cannot offer is a sound foundation in prayer, morality and theology rooted in the Catholic Faith and tradition.
