Financial Aid & Tuition Assistance
TUITION ASSISTANCE AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
St. Gregory the Great School believes in providing access to a Catholic Education to all students. In 2023-2024 close to $200,000 was provided in tuition support to families through the BISON Fund, Parish Tuition Assistance, Teacher/Staff Tuition Grant, Diocesan Scholarships, and the Angel Wings Scholarship Program.
Thanks to the generosity of friends of Catholic Education, Alumni, Parishioners, and other Donors we can offer Tuition Assistance and Scholarships to families who want a Catholic Education for their children to learn and grow in their Faith.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Families may apply for Tuition Assistance in the Winter of the year before attendance in the Fall. Families will be notified of their Tuition Assistance or Scholarship Awards in April/May before the first payment is due in June for the following school year.
Families may apply for Tuition Assistance in the Winter of the year before attendance in the Fall. Families will be notified of their Tuition Assistance or Scholarship Awards in April/May before the first payment is due in June for the following school year.
Application must be made each year to maintain eligibility as awards do not automatically renew. Tuition Assistance awards result in a direct reduction of tuition expenses that vary in size and are awarded to families based on Financial Need and the criteria for each form of Tuition Assistance.
To apply for any form of Tuition Assistance, families will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS, an online Tuition Management System. Once an online Application has been completed, the following information will need to be uploaded to FACTS to complete the application process:
- Copies of your 2023 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules;
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf or jpeg format online. All Tuition Assistance decisions are made by the SGG Scholarships and Grants Committee. No parents of current students are on the committee. Tuition Assistance Applications MUST to be completed by April 5, 2024.
