Girls JV Basketball Team Scores Big!

This weekend, the JV girls played in the Christ the King tournament. They dropped their first game against St. Ben's 6th grade team 31-20 but came roaring back on Sunday with a 24-7 win over St. Christopher's.

 

Scorers for the weekend included:

 

Charlotte Meyer with 27 points

Greta Sendlak with 6 points

Cameron O'Brien with 6 points

Ava Spellman with 3 points

Lyla Creps with 2 points

 

And while it's important to score baskets, the entire team contributed with excellent defense, rebounding, attitude and support for each other. It was an impressive showing while we were down two key players due to injury and illness. We could not be more proud of the girls for their remarkable effort and improvement over the course of the season.

 

These girls came together to form a strong team, and we are grateful for an amazing season.
