PRESS RELEASE: St. Gregory the Great School Appoints New Assistant Principal
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – Williamsville, NY — St. Gregory the Great School is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Chelsea Gilbert as the new Assistant Principal for the 2025-26 school year. A proud St. Greg’s alumna, Ms. Gilbert returns to her alma mater, bringing both a fresh perspective and a deep-rooted commitment to the school’s mission.
Ms. Gilbert previously served the St. Greg’s community for seven years as an Earth Science teacher. She was a trusted and dedicated member of the faculty and played a key role in supporting Middle School programming and communications during her time at the school.
Most recently, Ms. Gilbert taught AP Biology at Mount St. Mary Academy, where she guided students through challenging coursework and immersive lab experiences. Her academic expertise and leadership experience make her an ideal fit for this new role.
As Assistant Principal, Ms. Gilbert will work closely with faculty and students to support a positive, mission-driven school culture. Her collaborative spirit and knowledge of the St. Greg’s community uniquely positions her to make an immediate impact.
In addition to welcoming Ms. Gilbert, the school is also excited to welcome back Louie, her beloved dog, who will once again serve as St. Greg’s therapy dog. Louie’s calming and joyful presence has been a cherished source of comfort for students and staff alike.
