Dress Code Information/Policy

Philosophy

“The goal of Catholic schools is not discipline and structure for the mere sake of order but for the sake of building habits of self-management that lead to virtuous lives” (Porter-Magee, 2019). We firmly believe that our school uniform and dress code provide the necessary structure and environment for which our students can thrive in spiritually, educationally and socially.

Purpose

The purpose of the dress code policy is to teach our students to “DRESS FOR SUCCESS.” Research has proven that uniforms have a positive impact on classroom discipline and student safety (NAESP 2013). In addition to these important benefits, a dress code encourages professionalism, school pride and a sense of community.
