April 3rd. National Find a Rainbow Day
Good Morning,
Today is, National Find a Rainbow Day. Rainbows are a magical creation full of color that peer down from the heavens after a storm. There is something mysterious about them, that everyone loves. A rainbow can signal a spiritual growth, or inner awakening that creates a sign of hope and promise for better days. Sir Isaac Newton was the one who discovered that when we break white light apart using a prism (raindrops) we get a visual spectrum of light, otherwise known as, a rainbow.

Jeremiah 20:10-13. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and he heard my voice – Psalm 17(18):2-7. John 10:31-42.

The prayer from Jeremiah for today tells those who are in distress to know that God is with them. When we go through times of distress in life, we need God's rainbows to shed some beauty and hope. Hope for a better day, with no stress, anxiety, or depression. When you are feeling low, try saying a simple prayer to God such as, ¨ Help me God, be by my side and guide me through this difficult time. Thank you for wrapping your arms around me, holding my hand, and comforting  me always. In Jesus´name I pray, Amen.¨ You will be surprised how uplifting this can be.

So, today  I encourage you to look for a sign from God. Talk to him, and he will listen. I hope you all have a RAINBOW DAY!

April 2nd,
Good Morning Everyone,
This morning I got up and went outside in the crisp cool air to watch the sunrise.
I was in my backyard looking out over my pond and the field behind it. My backyard in the country is quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and full of nature. I could hear the sound of woodpeckers busily chipping away at fragments of trees in the distance. I stood listening to the soft noises of birds rustling in the tress waking up to gather food for their morning breakfast. I watched a trio of ducks swim effortlessly creating soft ripples on the top of the water.  This was a wonderful way to start my morning, and as I watched the sunrise I gave thanks to God for the beautiful things in life that we take for granted everyday. So today, give thanks to God and the people who love you and take care of you everyday, that we might just take for granted. Pay attention to nature around you and feel at peace knowing we have this in our life to enjoy each day. I know I will!

April1 1st- Hello Sunshine!
Today looks like it is going to be a beautiful day to enjoy some sunshine. Maybe you can get out and ride your bike, like this little guy. He looks like he is concentrating on staying on, keeping his feet on the pedals, and avoiding the potholes in his path. I guess anywhere in life we go, people run into potholes. Just like LIFE,  where you are cruising along and all of the sudden, BOOM, you hit a bump or pothole and your knocked off your path. That is what we are all experiencing right now, a bumpy patch in life. When life gets tough like this the best thing to do is to be NICE to others. Stop grumbling and complaining, that doesn't change anything. Focus on what you can control like your mindset and attitude. Keep moving forward and do what needs to be done, so that you are still staying on the path you started. Set a goal and you might just find a smoother ride. Also, SLOW down and pay attention to the good things you have around you, and if you need help, ASK. Let's keep riding and enjoying the life and moments we have each day. We are in this together, so please be kind, do a good thing today, and know I miss you all. KEEP RIDING!!!!

March 25th,

Morning friends,
The Bluebird is my favorite bird. It is the state bird of New York and its symbol is that of happiness, found in many cultures. I am fond of this bird because my father loved bluebirds. He always tried to get them in our yard and even built a special bluebird house when I was your age. Through my whole childhood, no bluebirds appeared. My dad past away ten years ago in May, on Mother's Day. That morning of his passing my sister's and I were at my parents house. I looked out the back window of my parents  home and to my surprise was over 50 bluebirds everywhere! They were in trees, on the clothesline, in the grass, on the pool fence. It was CRAZY!
I screamed for my sisters and mom to come look. Tears of joy and amazement were written on our faces. We all knew it was my father giving us a sign of love, and comfort. He was telling us everything would be okay, and I know this from the bottom of my heart. This little miracle meant the world to me and my family. So, today go out and look around you. You might never know when God or a loved one is giving you a sign too.
God Bless,
Mrs. Rappold
