St. Gregory the Great School is pleased to announce its participation in New York State’s Universal Free School Meals Program, beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year. Through this initiative, all students from Pre-K3 through Grade 8 will be eligible to receive both breakfast and lunch at no cost.
This statewide program, funded to ensure every child has access to nutritious meals during the school day, reflects St. Greg's ongoing commitment to supporting the whole child—academically, spiritually, and physically. By eliminating meal costs, the program helps remove a potential barrier to learning and promotes the well-being of every student in our school community.
“This is a tremendous step forward in making sure every student is nourished and ready to learn each day,” said Mrs. Molly White, school Principal. “We are grateful to the state for this opportunity and look forward to providing all of our students with consistent access to healthy meals.”
Further details—including menus, service logistics, and any required forms—will be shared with families later this summer.
